SHATTERED
I read the reviews before purchasing these bowls and, despite the fact that 2 of the 7 reviewers reported that the bowls were poorly packaged and broken upon arrival, I decided to take my chances and order. After all, the odds were in my favor, right? Fast forward two days...
Bowls arrive on my doorstep. I open the package. And what do you know, the one bowl was shattered and the other had a huge section (we're talking a fifth of the bowl) broken off.
How this seller gets away with his/her packaging is beyond me. The bowls were wrapped in two pieces of tissue paper. That's it. TISSUE PAPER. TWO PIECES. Come on, people! That's not going to cut it.
I sent the bowls back the next day and reordered different bowls with better reviews.
Save your time and money. Buy your bowls elsewhere.

Broken On Arrival
The bowls were packaged from the original company in a shoe box with no padding or bubble wrap. One bowl was broken on arrival. They were a beautiful set of bowls, but went back immediately. I would not reorder assuming that the packaging and resulting broken bowls would remain the same.
Very stylish
The bowl set is a perfect starter for my collection of asian goods. the hand painted insides give it that authenticity and the colors are wonderful and match my kitchen!
