I ordered this enamelware set as a gift for a friend who wanted deep dish - pie pan style - plates. The photo of the Stansport Enamelware illustrated exactly the style of plate that prompted my purchase. I gave the set unopened to the friend only to discover later that the plates are a normal plate style rather than the deep pie pan style. This is deceptive advertising and sold by Amazon.

good product, bad pictures
We bought these dishes because the picture on the box showed a plate with a high side...these were not the plates that arrived! The plates are a traditional, flat 10" plate with rim. They look nothing like the picture. The quality of the product is good and we will keep them but we are very disappointed that we didn't get what was pictured.
bargain price
The plates are not the deep dish as pictured, but I knew that from the other reviews. Careful inspection showed only one cup had a tiny chip which I touched up with fingernail polish, problem solved. A good finish and a sturdy feel, with proper care should last quite a while.
