...And so far, it operates well. I was in the market for a new coffee maker to replace an inexpensive one I bought five years ago as a fill in when my coffee maker died. This time I had a bit more time to shop for what I wanted in a coffee maker. Actually, I was looking for an attractive four cup maker since I live alone and only drink coffee for breakfast. When I saw this, I liked the handsome appearance, I wanted a black maker, and a big plus that I've wanted for a number of years now is the automatic shutoff feature. Although I never forget to turn the coffee maker off, there's always a first time. I can picture baked on coffee on the carafe. I'm not using the programmable feature, but it's a nice feature as is the clock.
